Dinasour Museum

Mason, Morgan and I went to the Dinasour Museum at Thanksgiving Point with Grandma Crook, Mandy, Ellie and Cameron today. It started out with a big bang. Mason had to go to the bathroom so Mason, me and grandma Crook went in the bathroom. After we were all done with our business we were washing our hands and Mason decided to be a stinker and swatted grandma crook on the butt and then he turned around and ran right into a tile wall. He instantly started screaming and got the biggest goose egg on his forehead.

Morgie was pretty content to ride around in the wagon while the other kids ran around.

This was about the best picture I could get of all the kids. Ellie was the only one who would look at the camera.

Morgie is a walker

Morgie has finally learned to walk! She is 13 months now and we are so excited. It is nice now that she is mobile. Now she would rather walk instead of being carried which is fine with us. She loves trying to keep up with her big brother.

Train Museum

We went to the train museum in Ogden with Mandy and Cameron. The boys loved to run around and look at all the trains. There were model trains set up in display cases with running model trains. The boys would run to each display case following the trains. They had a lot of fun.

This one was just perfect for Morgie to hold on to.

The boy could have stayed here and played all day if we let them.

Captain Mom and Captain Underpants

Mason is very creative in his nickname for me. One day I was telling him to clean up for like the 500th time and he finally came back with "ok captain mom". I couldn't help but laugh. Where he came up with that I'll never know but it is funny. Now that we are in the middle of attempting potty training again Mason won't wear any pants. So most days he is going with the casualy look - either training pants or bear bum. Good thing he has a cut little bum. So since he is wearing nothing but his training pants I started calling him captain underpants. He things it is pretty funny so I'm sure the nickname will stick for a while - at least until he starts wearing pants again.

Water Slides

Justin, Lori and Ryan came to visit us for a week. While they were here we decided to go to a small water park. It was the first week of school for most kids in Utah so we pretty much had the park to ourselves. There were four slides and they were pretty fun. Mason was kinda scared at first but after one trip down with daddy he was hooked! Morgan likes water but I'm not sure if she like the slides or not. She just sat on my lap going down the slides with a straight face.

Mason did really good in the water. In swimming lessons he did not like to put his face in the water or even go underwater. At this park he would dive down in the water and float for a few seconds. He did the repeatedly so hopefully he has gotten over his fear of getting his face wet.

Daddy and Morgie. They have the same hairstyle!
