Pumpkin Patch Take Two

We went to the pumpkin patch again this time with daddy. The kids had lots of fun riding in the cart and running through the pumpkin fields. Mason really wanted a big pumpkin and a white ghost pumpkin. He was also very sweet and made sure his sister has a little pumpkin. We always love taking a family outing to the pumpkin patch and we can't wait for Haloween!

Doesn't daddy look thrilled to be going after Mason in the hay maze!

Haloween Party

We had our annual Haloween party and grandma Crook's house. It was fairly nice weather so we were able to have the party in grandma's backyard. Jade, Stacy and their kids and Bill and Phylis were able to be there.
Grandma Crook had a bunch of different colored bags the kids could decorate with Haloween stickers to put their candy in.

My two little bugs. Mason was a sting bee and Morgie was a butterfly.

We had a pumpkin pinata and the kids were really excited to gt the candy out of it. We started with the youngest kid and went up from there. Morgie go to go first and I got to help her.

Mason got his turn and hit the pinata a few times. The pinata was a lot harder to break open that anticipated so after all the kids got a change to hit it Ryan finally got all the candy to fall out. The kids all got tons of candy and were happy.

Mason the sting bee, Cameron was mickey mouse, Ellie was a witch and Morgie was a butterfly.

Pumpkin Patch

We meet up with grandma Crook, grandma Hilton, Mandy, Ellie, Cameron, Jade, Stacy, Cybil, Cameran and Savanna and went to the pumpkin patch at Pack Farms this afternoon. They loved running around the pumpkin fields and Mason loved running through the maze trying to find Ellie and Savanna. Morgie like to ride with the pumpkins in the cart. This is really the first Halloween that she kind of knows what is going on. Last year she was only a few months old and was not interested. It was fun watching the kids run around and helping Jade pick out the uglies pumpkin we could find.

Home Depot Boat Project

We took Mason to the Home Depot to do a boat project. Shane knowes a bunch of people that work at the Home Depot since he is in there just about every day buying supplies so he heard about this project and thought Mase would like it.
Here is daddy helping Mason built his boat. I was surprised that they actually let kids build the boats with hammers and nails - I was anticipating cardboard and glue.

Here is the builder and his finished project.

There was a firetruck and two fireman there taking pictures with all the kids and their boats.

Dino Park

We went with Mandy, Ellie, Cameron and Grandma Crook to the Dino Park in Ogden today. It was a nice day to go. A little cool but nice to walk around in. The park was all decorated for Halloween. The kids were a little scared to go in a few places because of the decorations. Maybe in a few years we'll have to come trick-or-treating here. Here's the kids comparing their feet to a dinosaurs.

Mason loves Ellie. I'm sure she gets tired of him but he just adores her.

Dinasour Museum

Mason, Morgan and I went to the Dinasour Museum at Thanksgiving Point with Grandma Crook, Mandy, Ellie and Cameron today. It started out with a big bang. Mason had to go to the bathroom so Mason, me and grandma Crook went in the bathroom. After we were all done with our business we were washing our hands and Mason decided to be a stinker and swatted grandma crook on the butt and then he turned around and ran right into a tile wall. He instantly started screaming and got the biggest goose egg on his forehead.

Morgie was pretty content to ride around in the wagon while the other kids ran around.

This was about the best picture I could get of all the kids. Ellie was the only one who would look at the camera.

Morgie is a walker

Morgie has finally learned to walk! She is 13 months now and we are so excited. It is nice now that she is mobile. Now she would rather walk instead of being carried which is fine with us. She loves trying to keep up with her big brother.
